Ein wirklich altes Kirchlein in einer einsamen Gegend im Bleniotal. Die Ortschaft ist Acquarossa und reich mit Kastanienbäumen gesegnet. Wir sammeln was das Zeug hält. Ganz am Ende der Strasse führt ein Pfad über eine Brücke zu der Kirche.
Man fragt sich schon wie die hier herkommt aus einer Zeit wo hier wahrscheinlich noch weniger los war. Einöde. Hier kann man sich auch noch heute zum meditieren zurückziehen. Aus der Ferne hört man ein paar Kuhglocken. Autos sind selten.
Innen wirklich absolut sehenswert mit Fresken aus dem 11. Jahrhundert. Die sind eh selten und wenn sie noch so gut erhalten sind, dann ist das schon was Besonderes.
