Im Yosemite Nationalpark ist es ein wenig wie in den Schweizer Alpen. Zumindest kam es uns so vor, weil es gerade Winter ist und die Berge und Täler eine grosse Ähnlichkeit haben. El Capitan ist die wichtigste und bekannteste Erhebung. In der Hauptsache ein irrer Kletterfels mit einer Wandhöhe von 1000 m.
