Zum Essen und Schlendern abends in Georgetown. Georgetown ist ein Stadtteil und älter als die Stadt selbst. ein wirklich nettes Örtchen. Schöne viktorianische Häuschen, schöne Shops und gute Restaurants. Hier lässt es sich leben. Ein netter Bach / Kanal durchzieht den Stadtteil mit Stauwehren und Wasserrädern. Sieht alles irgendwie unamerikanisch aus.
Essen gibt es dann am Potomac. Hochtrabend nennt sich die Ecke Georgetown Harbour bzw. Marina. Na ja ein wenig mini aber doch sehr nett am Fluss gelegen. Und ein paar Restaurants gibt es auch. Man kann schön sitzen und dinieren. Diesmal Nick’s Riverside Grill. Es gibt sehr leckere Hamburger und Steaks. Und Seafood gibt’s auch. Auch sehr lecker.
