Steiff, wer kennt das nicht. Das sind die mit dem Knopf im Ohr, die Plüschtiere. Margarete gründete das Ganze schon im im 19. Jahrhundert. Schon bald wurde eine ganze Fabrik daraus. Man spezialisierte sich auf Tiere und anderes Spielzeug. Auch Holzspielzeug gehörte dazu. Wir wir wissen hat die Idee der ausgestopften Bären und anderen Plüschtiere bis heute überzeugt und die ganze Welt ist immer noch scharf auf die Dinger. … und nicht nur Kinder.
In Giengen wurde ein neues Museum errichtet. Richtig modern. Im Zuge des schwäbischen Museumswahns der Unternehmer mal ein etwas anderes Museum. Lohnt sich!
